HOW DOES IT WORK


Homes are selected for Christmas in April repairs through an application process. Members of the House Selection Committee visit each applicant’s home to interview the homeowner, inspect the property, review written proof of homeownership and income, and complete an evaluation report. After all visits are completed, the full committee meets to discuss and prioritize the applications before making recommendations to the Christmas in April Advisory Board. The Advisory Board then votes to approve or reject the committee’s recommendations.
